I tried to move an accoutnt from my old server to my new one using "Copy an account from another server with account password" in WHM.

I get this error:

Error while copying account...! Aborting Extraction

I ran the /scripts/securetmp a cuple of days ago and i was told today that that will interfere with the account move feature in WHM.

Is this true?.. and how do i remove the secure /tmp ?
fishfreek
I run the securetmp script on all our servers and have not had issues with it interfering with any of the move scripts.

I did run into a problem where kernel 2.6.X would not let me move sites. Kept complaning about incorrect MD5 on the remote server.

ok, then thats not why i get that error.

Does anyone have any ideas about this?

How big is the account your transfering? How big is your /tmp directory?
yemoller
the account aint bigger than about 40MB

I have 3MB in my /tmp
eddy2099
You probably need an equivalent or greater sized /tmp to accomodate the compression of the sites. The 40mb site would not be able to squeeze into the 3mb temp.
yemoller
how do i change the /tmp size ??
