I've been playing around with getting deeper into the guts of administering this server and I can't seem to figure out how to get at and edit the guts of the filesystem. The best I can do is get ftp access to individual accounts, but that doesn't extend below the users' directories. In particular I want to be able to access php configuration files but I haven't been able to figure out how and where to access that.

I know at some point I had this problem before and I ended up with an SFTP setup, but I don't know how to go about doing that again (been a while)... any ideas?

Well, the easiest solution would be to SSH into the server and then edit the files there.

Well sure, but can I upload files that way?

you use SCP to upload files. Which is like SSH Ftp program
Gellpak
Ahh. This should work. Thanks.

Download WinSCP, it's the bomb... try Googling for it icon_smile.gif
