Does this release work with the layer1 package?
Paul
Well I have been using the latest release candidate and haven't had any problems... looks like it's gone final though... time to upgrade again.

edit:
Just upgraded, no problems during the upgrade and haven't noticed anything unusual at the moment icon_biggrin.gif

Thank you for your reply.

Your using the mailscanner+clamav layer 1 package?

Yes... but have since updated both mailscanner and clamav to the latest versions.

I don't see any reason why it won't work with a non-updated layer1 package though icon_smile.gif

This is what I did to update my redhat9 box:
CODE
wget http://heanet.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/clamav/clamav-0.70.tar.gz

tar xfzv clamav-0.70.tar.gz

cd clamav-0.70

./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc

make

make install
Then a quick version check to make sure it worked:
CODE
clamscan -V
Should give you "clamscan / ClamAV version 0.70"
