Full Version: Plesk with 30 domains licence?

wondering will RS consider offering plesk with only 30 domains licence? i believe that not all of us are running a web hosting business and 30 domains are more than enough. moreover, with 30 domains licence maybe we can save some money on setup as 30 domains licence is far more cheaper icon_smile.gif RS can allow us to upgrade to 200 domains or unlimited domains, so if we need more domains we can upgrade then and save some money when we sign-up ... with this option, maybe RS can come up with compaq+plesk servers and have celeron+plesk at $99 setup.

just my 2 cents though icon_smile.gif

In that case, why not just get a plain redhat 7.2 and buy plesk yourself? If you find the right reseller, it can be as low as $150, plus you get to keep the license yourself.

i was thinking about that ... but as i am not a unix/linux guru nor a good server admin i might have problems installing the cp myself or mass things up and need a reboot or support and that would be difficult and cost even more icon_sad.gif

moreover, i think RS is able to offer plesk 30 domains licence at the same price or lower than the current ensim packages ... thus it will be more beneficial to have it with RS ... off course if RS will consider offering it icon_smile.gif

headsurfer any comment?

plesk is extremely easy to install, basically you can just run an install script and it does everything for you. If you mess up, you can always uninstall it (wish ensim would uninstall itself).

Judging from the pricing, I don't think plesk likes to make too much price concession, even to a large reseller like rackshack.
