Hi guys, I'm finding things are really really slow at servermatrix right now which has led to me have a useless server for a couple months whilst things get sorted by them. Now we are the verge of our server taking over from the old one.

I am using Plesk and have pointed the two domain entries in Plesk to the servermatrix domain servers and went to Domain Admin and created two tickets to have the domains added as follows:

----------------------------
(227169PLNT)
Domain: gamebase.ca
Time: (US Central Time) asap
Change: Could you please add the following domain to the Domain Admin.

Domain: Gamebase.ca
IP: 69.93.146.124

Many thanks,

PJ Matthews

(227167PLNT)
Domain: walibe.com
Time: (US Central Time) asap
Change: can you add this domain to orbit domain admin and then reverse the dns to the below IP please.

domain: walibe.com
IP: 69.93.146.126
----------------------------

Gamebase domain is already pointing at the servermatrix servers and is just awaiting this being done for the domain to work. Walibe.coms will not be pointed at servermatrix until the above is done to minimize site down time (theres identical copies of the site on both old and new servers right now).

Is the above right? Its now been over 24 hours since I created these tickets and still nothings been done. Is this right? Have I done something wrong?

Does seems strange. I have not been adding domains for a couple of months now but the last time I did, it did not take them more than 3 hours to do it. Give them couple more hours and see if anything happens. If not, drop sales a ticket and have them chase for those to be done.

Okay, so what I'm doing above should be just fine when they are actually done? Thanks for your quick reply.

Yup, that's what I usually do myself and haven't gotten any problems as yet.

Are you by any chance offering web hosting services or those sites are just your own ? If you are offering then it might be better to host the DNS on your own machine to speed up the process.

Its only a couple of domains at the second but yes I do want to learn to do our own name servers. Ive been playing with some of the domains at one of our registrars who allows the setting up of name servers but havn't as yet got them working.

(P.S Looks like the one man tech department that is klaude noticed the post and did something about them - cheers).
