I'm trying to set my DNS up the following way, and thought I had done it correctly, but for the past couple of months, it still isn't resolving to this person's domain.

domain domain1.net
search domain1.net
nameserver 127.0.0.1
nameserver **.**.**.154
nameserver **.**.**.155
nameserver **.**.**.157
nameserver **.**.**.158

I need domain2.net to resolve to .157 and .158 and I just can't seem to get it to work. If anyone could tell me something else I need to do in order to make it work I would appreciate it. This user needs their own IP addresses for nameservers because they host sites on my server also.

Thanks

that looks like an /etc/resolv.conf and is off absolutly no use.

Youd need to be running a DNS server like Tinydns, bind or any other DNS server. These would then be able to answer qeuries to DNS reqeusts.

Well I am running bind, I just don't know what I'm looking for or what I should be changing.
