What kind of coffee do you all like?
I buy bags of "Eight o'Clock" coffee beans from Walmart and grind it as I use it. Then I mix about 3/4 "Eight o'Clock" and 1/4 Starbucks Espresso (preground b/c I can't find Starbucks espresso roasted beans at Walmart). By using that combination, I find I have the PERFECT cup of coffee every time. It's really strong, but it's not sharp like most strong coffee is. It's VEEERY smooth, and that's what I like.
What do you all drink?

Well, my problem with starbucks is they think that an over-roasted bean is good. I don't like over-roasted beans, so I don't like Starbucks. They do have pretty good espresso roast coffee...

In our break room we have a pretty swank little automatic coffee machine. You put in the packet for the type of coffee you want, push the right button, and boom: coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. It even tells me to "enjoy my beverage". The future is truly here! Sometimes the coffee doesn't taste like it's been brewed through an old sock.
My favorite out of the machine: One cappuchino (a cream packet + an espresso packet) mixed with one cup of hot chocolate.
At home I'm not a picky man. Freeze dried Folgers all the way!

Yum. My favorite was a "double tall mocha". My favorite coffee shop closed, so I just dring coffee at home. Saves me a trip in to the Village anyhow. Not like I live in a place with many coffee shops (I think there is 1 now).... so it is all good.
When I go to Seattle, I splurge though.

Press pot is the only way to go. I got one a few months ago and have yet to plug my drip maker back in. It makes any coffee taste good.
I don't much like starbucks, either. I think it's overated. Just about any fresh arabica is great.

When I was on vacation in England we used those press pots. They're quite cool. I was thinking of getting one after my tub of foldgers was out.

Tim Hortons coffee absolutely rocks! Their donuts aren't too shabby either.

Now if I could only figure out an easier way to "rrroll up the rim to win!"

When it comes to coffee its Mocha
When its soda... its usually Mountain Dew
Alcohol would be either beer (La fin du monde - Canadian beer

) Or whiskey.

Every morning, I take my ritualistic drive to the local Starbucks where I partake in a Tall Soy Sugar Free Vanilla Latte with a dash of cinnamon. (Can't handle milk or sugar so hence the Soy (ugh, but better than nothing) and the sugar free syrup)
Then when I get home, it is back to my Diet Coke which I drink about a case a day, sometimes I substitute and get a couple 2 liters of Diet Dr. Pepper.

If you love coffee, buy some green unroasted coffee beans from www.sweetmarias.com (Try a cheap Columbian or something while you're learning) and a Hearthware home roaster. Once you get the technique down, you will never want store-bought coffee again.
The difference between day old coffee and months old coffee is staggering. Not only that, but it's a great conversation piece, it's a lot of fun, and your garage smells like pure heaven for a couple days!
