Ran into problems today staying logged into phpnuke website. Anyone else having these problems? You can login in fine, but soon as the page changes, it seems that it didnt cookie.

If you can find an alternative to phpnuke, do so. From what I have seen, it is one of the entry point which could bring down the server. Phpnuke is said to be laden with vulnerability that it is possible to take down a server through it.

Yeah, I've studied the source code, and it's poorly written. Try Mambo Server, i think thats what it's called.

I found the problem and its fixed. It happened to be a header problem with nuke 6.5 and above with IIS 5.

Nuke 6.9 has some back doors. One of my Nuke 6.9 sites got hacked last week. You should upgrade to 7.0 asap. I have stopped using Nuke.

Xoops is a good choice also.
