Which options are supposed to come with the free Plesk offer?

I think you are about a week late for the free Plesk offer. This week they are offering a free Cpanel/WHM offer with some of their plans.

Actually, I signed up Sunday and got the Plesk offer, but I still want to make sure I got everything that was supposed to come with it, as there are several buttons that don't do anything. I also want certain additions if they are not already included, like SpamAssassin support

It comes with Powerpack which should be:

SpamAssassin
PostgresSQL
Tomcat
Event Manager
ColdFusion
Application Vault

Although now I have to check if I have coldfusion as I think it was disabled...hmm!

I found several packages in /root/opt... am I supposed to install them myself or should they be installed by SM?

Hi,

I'm glad it helped a bit, in that opt directory you could install them yourself if they aren't already...

If you go into Server-> component info you can have a look at that list to see what is installed and if something isn't i.e. apache asp and frontpage you can just got and install the rpm and you may need to reboot and then you will see that its all configured in the plesk panel too.

So, in summary, the following components are not installed:

frontpage, mailman, postgresql, coldfusion, psa-spamassassin, timcat4, and perl-Apache-ASP

the /root/plesk/... directories seem to contain all the missing stuff... so I guess I will install them.
