Full Version: Possible Solution to Recent CPanel Loads

As I posted elsewhere, my server crashed last week and since it has been back the server has been crawling and I get failure notices constantly. I was determined to at least find out what was causing this, even if there wasn't an easy fix.

I found that analog stats was eating up tons of memory and causing other services to rely on the CPU. Things were failing every hour it seemed, with no pattern. I disabled analog stats from the WHM tweak settings menu and my server is humming along at a 0.06 load, just like before.

I'm not sure if this was just my problem, but I thought I would post here in case it would help anyone else. icon_smile.gif

Get rid of cPanel, it's a useless piece of software that hogs up your server CPU.

Anyway, if you want another solution, i need to know your server specs, i.e., hardware, OS, etc..

Not neccessarily a helpful response, even though I wasn't asking for one. icon_smile.gif

If you read my original post, I was trying to give CPanel users a solution for a common problem we have been having.

I didn't ask who didn't liked CPanel. icon_rolleyes.gif
