I just received my new server and Plesk was finally installed but I am unable to login I get the following error message when I go to port :8443.

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /mod_ssl:error:HTTP-request on this server.

If I go to the man ip without the port the Plesk default page loads fine. Also port :9999 works for Urchin.

Any Ideas on what I can do? I am not sure if I need to do anything as this is a brand new setup.

Well I guess I will read the instructions a little BETTER nex time

Don't forget the Plesk login requires HTTPS and will not work with HTTP!

Jeez, I had the same problem and was wondering what the hell was going on, thanks for the post. Perhaps they should send more information on how to access your stuff when they send out the welcome emails! They don't even tell you what port.
