I am currently running a game hosting company and am having one problem that i just can't seem to get passed. When searching for my servers (8 customers - 11 servers) within Counter Strike's searching tool, my servers show up really late on the list...like 5 minutes into searching. When you filter for east coast gaming servers it shows up faster, but still is one of the last 2 servers to show up at the end of the search. If you have no location filter on it shows up literally 5 mins into searching and is one of the last to show up again.

In server.cfg I understand that there is a way to change your location and I was wondering if this may have something to do with it. I have set the location to sv_location 0 (world) and sv_location 255 (east coast) without any resolutions. Without my customers servers showing up on the master list faster, I will lose them eventually cuz we all know the reason to rent a server is to have a bunch of people to play with.

My system specs- Pentium 4 2.8ghz, 1024 megs of ram, 100Mb uplink - average 10mbs steady to the internet, Win2k3 web edition. If anyone has any suggestions at all I would greatly appreciate the help,

The server list is probably a first-come-first-served basis. You're at the end because your server has come online more recently than the others. The other could have been running for days, weeks, or even months without restarts. (I personally restart mine every few days just to refresh things)

No the reason i know that is wrong is becuase a freind of mine and myself started our companies at the same exact time. His servers show up fine while mine are at the end if im lucky

There's nothing broken on your side or in your configuration. Its merely how the server list works.
