Anyone experiencing cpsrvd failures with the latest updates? Mine keeps going down
Does cPanel log this stuff somewhere?

cPanel doesn't do anything but cause problems.

Try restarting cPanel manually
CODE
/etc/rc.d/init.d/cppanel restart

Did restart - it keeps happening (3 more msgs since). Read the bug report, too... Not too helpful.
Dug up some logs in /usr/local/cpanel/logs - nothing unusual... other than error_log being EMPTY lol...
Versions:
WHM 9.1.0 cPanel 9.1.0-S93
RedHat Enterprise 3 - WHM X v2.1.2
Others are whining about this on cPanel forums too, I'm surprised I'm the only one here so far with this problem:

You aren't the only one with this problem. I just checked my admin email and have something like 30 failures in the past two days! Also had apache go down once and a service I didn't recognize, I think cppop??? I'm pretty much a N00bie...
Anyway, I also noticed that for the past two days when I log out of a cpanel initiated webmail session (neomail) I get an error message too.
And, probably unrelated, one of the accounts on my server (my wifes) corrupted a picture file.
I'm glad that I don't resell space or I'd be balding pretty badly right now. I am glad that at least I am not the only one with the problem though, the corrupted picture made me worry I might have some bad drive sectors.
BTW, how does one check the fsck log? I am assuming that RH ent3 runs fsck after a reboot, right?

The techs reinstalled cPanel for me and it's been running OK since. Try that maybe?

Before you do that, you should try to reinstall it this way;
CODE
rm -rf /usr/local/cpanel
/scripts/updatenow
/scripts/upcp

The above worked very well for me, thanks!

Daejuan,
I thank-you also for the code post.. It did what I wanted...getting me back to a stable version.
Hopefully fixes the failing problem.
