I've never seen RHE in running
Maybe it is silly but I wonder how similar is RHE and RH9.
I wonder if I can compile software from source, can I change fg pam authorization to use mysql. All mentioned think I did on my RH9.
I have lot of my software to help me manage my serve so it is important q for me before choosing right distribution and version.

For most parts, both RH 9 and RH Ent 3 are very similiar in function. The selection and version of kernel and other freely available components may vary.

What you can do with RH 9, you should be able to accomplish with RH Ent 3.

Some of us are sticking to RH 9 because the version of the components used by RH 9 is proven and more stable than the RH Ent 3 components.
