Folks looking at the load balancing option are probably already technically savvy. How about providing a bit more of a background on the solution on the technical side.

Who provides it. What types of load balancing options are available. Are aspects of it shared / any potential bottlenecks on the load balancers themselves.

Thanks in advance for the pointers!

I guess you may have known that there would be an announcement on this here at TP/SM

QUOTE
 August 15, 2004 – Load Balancing!! Yes, we will have affordable ZEUS load balancing for all SM and TC customers. For SM, the price will be $49 and for TC, the price will be $99. This is the most aggressive enterprise level load balancing out there.

Part of that announcement is that they be offering the Zeus Load Balancing
http://www.zeus.com/products/zlb/ . This site should provide you with the information in regards to the solution. The pricing offered by SM/TP is cheap compared to how much the software would have cost if you purchased it on your own. http://www.webhostmagazine.com/ip/DisplayP...ress.asp?ID=528
