I have a website www.egamingstudios.com it has a name server ns1.egamingstudios.com. The name sever goes to ip 69.93.156.149 which is good, but the domain it's connected too www.egamingstudios.com goes too 69.93.156.144, which is bad, this doesn't make sense what's wrong?

I'd love to tell you that I know what you're asking. I'm guessing all of this is on one server. If so, consider not running your own DNS unless you're hosting lots of sites. Let Server Matrix DNS servers do that for you. Second, with the IPs that close, I have to suspect that you've assigned one IP to DNS and one IP to the website.

IIS has 69.93.156.149 going to the right HTML file
ns1.egamingstudios.com goes to the IP 69.93.156.149

all that is great

except that www.egamingstudios.com has the right nameserver but it isn't going to 69.93.156.149, it's gonig to my first Ip 69.93.156.144
Did I miss a step? what's wrong shouldn't it forward egamingstudios.com to the nameserver's assigned IP? Did I miss a step in setting things up?[/url]

basically i have a .COM name -> nameserver -> IP -> IIS , did i miss a step?

If you are wanting www.egamingstudios.com to point to 69.93.156.149 then its working.
