Does anybody have any idea how to stop recursive lookups in windows 2003? I've tried by selecting my server under the DNS snap in, selecting the forwarders tab, hilighted my IP and then checked the tick box that read 'Do not use recursion for this domain', However this hasn't worked! Any ideas anybody?

Found the answer, it was right under my nose. If anybody is interested it can be done by right clicking on the DNS snap in through MMC, and selecting properties. Move to the advanced tab and check the 'Disable Recursion (also disables forwarders)' box. I finally found the answer after trawling google and being passed the link to microsoft tech help.
