hi i got some questuion about cpanel and whm...


1st what do i have to put as Primary Resolver, Secondary Resolver and Teritary Resolver in the Resolver Setup ????


2nd in whm i have an option to Set Bandmin Password what does that do whats a bandmin ???

3rd is it ok if i have mod_ssl/2.8.16 and OpenSSL/0.9.7a at the same time compiled in appache ???

4th how to install postgree and make it work with cpanel ??? and also the phpPgAdmin ???

5ft how do i get my free fantasico ??? does serveramtrix gona installed it for me or i have to do it ???

I set primary resolver as 127.0.0.1 and the secondary and teritary resolvers as the primary and secondary DNS provided in the 'Welcome to Servermatrix' email.



Bandmin is a script which is run on your cpanel server which provides a breakdown of bandwidth used by the In+Out ports based on the IPs assigned to your server. It also shows total bandwidth being used by your server.

To get to bandmin, type

http://youripaddress/bandwidth/

so can you confirm:

Primary Resolver 127.0.0.1
Secondary Resolver ns1.servermatrix.com
Teritary Resolver ns2.servermatrix.com


is it ok or i have to out my own dns ????

The Secondary and Teritary Resolvers should be numeric IP addresses of the name servers. If your name servers are fully functional and propagated you can use it but I like to use SM's because using theirs would mean true redundancy.
