Full Version: WHM/CPANEL not showing up

Hi,

I just set up a server through server matrix and recieved my confirmation email telling me that it was complete and what my ip was.

I ordered WHM/CPANEL with this. However when I go to the IP address/whm /cpanel or :2086 it says page cannot be displayed as if WHM is not installed.

I can however go to the ip just fine and ssh in.

I switched from burst net; my question is: does servermatrix give you access to these services on different ports or directories? or is it just not installed?

Thanks

They should be installed by default if you opted for it to be installed.

SSH into your machine and navigate to

cd /etc/rc.d/init.d/

and see if you do locate a 'cpanel' listed there.

If not then cpanel is not installed. If so, it should be there. Try :-

./cpanel start

while you are in that directory. That should start up cpanel if it is not already started.

Just a thought...have you tried :2083 for cpanel and :2087 for WHM.
Argious
did you try these?
https://www.yourdomain.com:2083 (cpanel)
https://www.yourdomain.com:2087 (whm)

I know that some other servers use 2082 and 2086 for their ports instead of the above. And make sure it's https and not http.

Had the same "problem", just request a reboot icon_wink.gif
