Hello,
Have any of you folks that use Dreamweaver MX figured out how to configure the SSH login feature so that you do not get a timeout when connecting to the server?
Thanks so much for your time,

Didn't even realize that you could connect to SSH via Dreamweaver MX. Can you use SSH2?
Sounds like a nice alternative if it's operable.

The feature is used to transfer usernames and passwords securely across the network.
The Dreamweaver TechNote doesn't mention SSH2.

I could not get Putty to work, but I was able to use Dreamweaver with WebDrive, version 5.32, which uses SSH encryption.

Update:
I was informed that WebDrive does not verify the fingerprint of the host server key.
So, I changed to "SSH Secure Shell Client", which is supposed to verify the host key fingerprint with each connect, after you add it to the client database on the first connect.
Dreamweaver MX works with "SSH Secure Shell Client".
A non-commercial version of "SSH Secure Shell Client", with no time limit, was available (at the time of this writing) for download; if you are interested, reply to this subject .
