Hello Guys,

Ordered my 1st server on Monday. Got the confirmation call within 1 minutes (impressive?) and told that server will be ready within 24 hour (cool, eh?). Wait patiently, 24 hour, 30 hour, 38 hour, 48 hour, still waiting, 54 hour, decided to call and told server will be ready in 30 minutes, 55 hour, 56 hour, 60 hour, called again and received many apologies but apologize can't help me moving!, 60 hours and still waiting!!!

They told me that there is some problem with SCSI hardware. Do they have single piece of hardware there? do they even have professional staff? I am getting worried really!

ServerMatrix, if I am not setup within next 10 hour then I will have to cancel my order and start looking for a more professional service.

Thank you.

That is unlike them. Our servers were setup in about 12 hours this week. Have you received Orbit info yet?
hostbreak
Orbit info was instantly given to me. I called them few times and there response on phone was quite good. Anyway, the server is now setup (after 58 hours) and I am all okay!

I have to move my server from Interland to ServerMatrix. This involves moving all customers (300+), and all the applications. It is not a nightmare for me because I have written several scripts which perform all the setup. If someone is interested in detail you may ask me.

Thank you.

I am interested in it, is there a cost? Requirement? how does it work?

Same here hostbreak. I know this thread is 2 weeks old but I'm getting the same problem.

I have had 2 servers here for a while now and ordered the Super SCSI with the standard setup on the 20th. 24 hours later I call and it's "being worked on right now". 36 hours later, "Someone is working on the machine right now". 48 hours later "It's being worked on, I'll get the hardware team to update the ticket". Also, extremely long hold times on the phone.

If you don't have the SCSI hardware, why list the server on the front page and also state that "106" of the Super SCSI's are available?

When I first ordered here, servers were delivered within 24 hours of ordering and calls were answered without these long hold times. Now the whole operation quality looks to be going downhill. I'm sorry to say that from the look of things, I probably won't be ordering my 4th or any additional servers here. icon_neutral.gif

I never got anything real special saying mine was ready. Got the Orbit login and then I could see the ticket was updated that the server was ready. Took less than 24 for our latest two servers.

It's been almost 72 hours and I'm still waiting for mine. Getting pretty ridiculus at this point.
