Hi I got a server which install RH ES. But it seems that I can't find vsftp install. What software that RH ES use for ftp? Where can I download the rpm packpage?

RHEL 3 with cpanel? or just RHEL?

if with cpanel+HWM you have proftpd or pureftp
go to your WHM and click "Tweak FTP Settings" to choose between that.

The ftp server that Red Hat has on the rhel-i386-es-3 channel is vsftpd. You can install it with up2date.

RHEL 3. up2date doesn't work too.

Do you mean up2date doesn't work at all for you, or just not for vsftpd? I used "up2date vsftpd" to install the ftp server on my machine.

marklin - If your server has RHEL 3.0 from Server Matrix, you should open a trouble ticket. The server is either misconfigured or the profile is not set up right for RHN access.
