Is there a limit to the number of IP addresses that a server can have (like at EV1Servers where 32 is the max)?

The only limit is the number of IP addresses your OS can support. icon_smile.gif

Thanks Kevin,

Is the process of obtaining IP addresses very straightforward (e.g. just a matter of paying for them)?

Or do you have to do the "ARIN Justification" thing each time like with some other data centers, which can be kind of impossible when you want to have IP addresses ready before future virtual hosting clients sign up, and you don't know what domains they're going to be using, but you don't want to wait until they sign up and then order IP addresses which delays the account setup process, etc etc... icon_smile.gif

There is an IP request form you can submit in Orbit, our ticketing system. We'd prefer ARIN justification since IP's are in relatively short supply.

OK...thanks!

Can we request IPv6 yet? We should be able to get 10x the amount of IP's. icon_wink.gif

As far as I know we don't offer IPv6 connectivity yet. Maybe Will or one of our sales folks can pipe in on that. icon_smile.gif

With IPv6, we can buy 20million IPs for $256/mn!!

I can't wait.
