Several days ago, I lost a bunch of folders on a website. The website is, incidentally, very large and very high traffic. Today I found out that I lost a bunch of files within a folder on that site, and I think it may have occurred at the same time.

The pattern the folder loss seemed to follow were the beginning folders based on name were missing, and the first folder to remain had files within it missing.

Does anyone have any idea what might have happened?
