I seem to have a problem...

For whatever reason my box came with the following installed:
openssh-2.9p2-11.7
openssh-clients-2.9p2-11.7
But not openssh-server. I really would like to get it installed and running but when I go to openssh.org and download the source rpm and run --rebuild as it says, I get failed dependency errors:
XFree86-devel is needed by openssh-3.2.3p1-1
gnome-libs-devel is needed by openssh-3.2.3p1-1
And I cant find the openssh-server rpm built for 7.1. What am I to do?

You can get the openssh 3.1 RPMs from:
ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/redhat/redhat/li...7.1/en/os/i386/
including the server.

As far as the dependency error, you need those additional RPMs to use that RPM.

Thanks, you are awesome! SSH is now running nice and smooth. I still cant figure out why RS doesnt have that on its install cd!?

RedHat 7.1 (which is used with Ensim 3.0) only includes that version of SSH.
