Hello,

We are having a problem with the email similar to others listed in this forum, but are not sure is the solution is the same.

Wheneve someone, using a script on our server, sends an email to another domain, we receive a bounced message with an error like this:

---------------------------------------------
from: MAILER-DAEMON@plesk.ev1.server.net
subject: failure notice

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at plesk.ev1servers.net.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

:
65.39.178.137 does not like recipient.
Remote host said: 554 5.7.1 : Recipient address rejected: Account expired
Giving up on 65.39.178.137.
---------------------------------------------

However, whoever@anyhost.com, does receive the email. In a previous message there was an advice about going to server > email and set the ip from 127.0.0.1/8 to 127.0.0.1/32. In our pannel, there no ips in server > email, the only IP that apperas is in server > email > whitelist. Under IP/Address mask we have 127.0.0.0/8. Is this wrong? Could this be the cause of such error?

Thanks so much

Yes, you need to change the whitelist IP address to /32. This closes a hole that spammers will abuse.
