When i send some e-mails to different providers i am getting "Cannot find your hostname" when i actually can access everything i am wondering what tests i could be doing to verify where i could be getting this error what steps should i go trhu..

Check if you have an reverse DNS entry for the IP Address of your server set up in Servercommand. Your IP address should resolve there back to the hostname.

Many e-mail servers require a reverse dns entry. Have a look at the website http://www.dnsstuff.com where you can check if it is proper set-up.

Robs exactly right. If you don't have a reverse record for the IP of your email server then you will get alot of rejected email from the major ISP's. Most do reverse lookups now.

If you don't know what they are here is an example of one.

IP: 10.10.10.10
PTR (reverse record): mail.domain.com or just domain.com (depending on how you have your DNS setup)
