I wish someone would be kind enough to post a step by step guide on their upgrade success with Plesk 8. What's the deal with Yum? Update gives me nothing. Iget errors after errors with yum update.

1) What exactly should be on the yum.conf file? (RHEL 3ES). I keep getting these failover, no server to try errors. Here's my yum.conf file. I know I'm doing something wrong. Please point it out if you recognize it.

2) Plesk is down and won't start. Meanwhile mail is working just fine. Weird isn't it? Is there a way to downgrade back to 7.5?

3) I've rebooted countless of time. I've been up searching this forum, google and swsoft's forum to no avail for 27 hours straight now. Every hopeful solution fails. I'm tired.

If you can help, please do otherwise I will fall of my chair and go to sleep. My eyelids are getting heavy.
