Full Version: SSL Ordering Woes
The Planet Forums > Security > Encryption, SSL and Certificates

If you're in this forum you probably know that https://ssl.ev1servers.net/?SslType=RapidSSL (more specifically "WebForm1" at https://ssl.ev1servers.net/Purchase.aspx?Ss...slType=RapidSSL ) is probably the single most neglected spot on EV1Servers.net.

I would just like to confirm whether other users are getting the following message after attempting to pay, or if there really is a problem on this end:

An Exception Has Occurred

There is a server-side problem with the script you are trying to run and a detailed Bug Report has been created for this error.

*Suggested action:*  None. A detailed bug report has already been created and this issue is being handled by our Development team.

Question is, has anybody placed a successful RapidSSL order since 06/06/06?

We have current orders that are processing. Please email ssl@ev1.net so that your specific order issue can be investigated and addressed.

Did that 23 hours before posting this to determine what was preventing us from getting that cert. It's now been 25 hours of EV1 chat and 2 hours of emails back and forth and still don't have a cert or sleep.

I can check on the progress of your situation directly, and update you if you would like to email it to me at Laurie@ev1servers.net, but I can assure you that if our SSL team is already dealing with the situation, then it will be handled in with the quickest results in mind.

Unfortunately the new SSL ordering is what made us stop using EV1 for SSL's.

Lots of errors and then eventually I couldnt even order SSL's because my IP is Australian and my CC is from the UK.... Must have ordered 500+ SSL's and then they stop me ordering because I decide to live in a country different to that of my company.

Comodo won out of that one.

You might want to have a look at the certificates through ResellOne.net, as the criteria for a reseller is going to be different than that of the retail services. Please email support@resellone.net if you have any specific questions that you would like addressed.
