Full Version: How change the default Horde URL (webmail.domain...)?

Hello friends. I'm using Plesk 7.5 on a RHEL and I want to know if it's possible to change the default Horde URL from "webmail.domain.com" to "mail.domain.com" (or anything else).

My users are familiar with the http://mail.domain... sintax and I don't want to change it.

Any ideas?

Alex

PS: DNS is not hosted on the machine. I use an external DNS server (Zoneedit), so BIND is disabled on my box.

The easiest way is probably to set up a redirect from mail.domain.com to webmail.domain.com in either the vhost.conf or an .htaccess file for each domain.

I'm fact I'm doing it right now. ;-)

But this is a workaround, and I want to really change the URL where Horde works/resides without the need to install it (the Horde app) on a subdomain called "mail.mydomain..." or anything else I want, bypassing the default install that cames with Plesk.

I believe there's someplace where you can set this on Plesk, but I don't know where. The same for other services/applications such as Mailman (that runs by default on http://lists.domain...). I can't belive you can't change these settings some way.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
Alex

Folks, I still looking for a solution. I've searched a lot, posted the same question at SWSoft forums but nobody seams to know. Should be the case to contact the tech support for Plesk?

If anybody knows, I'll greatly appreciate any help.
