just a bit curious about DNS setting, i have this in the welcome letter:



my question is,

ns1.ev1servers.net is actually 207.218.245.135
ns2.ev1servers.net is actually 207.218.247.135

so what is the use of the 2 DNS server IP? 207.218.192.38 and 207.218.192.39

ns1 and ns2 are used to store & manage your DNS in case you don't want to do it on your box, and they can be added through the servercommand interface (http://www.servercommand.net) the other two IPs are user in your /etc/resolv.conf to 'resolve' domain names on your box if you are on DataCenter 1

nameserver 66.98.240.131
nameserver 67.15.31.131

are used in DC2
