Full Version: SSL Subdomains, IP, DNS

I set up two secure subdomains for two different domain names. I set up SSL certificates for each subdomain. Each subdomain is on a separate IP address. However, when I type in https://subdomain.domain1.com, I get a notice saying that the certificate does not match the domain. When I view the certificate, it is the main zone certificate, not the subdomain certificate I have assigned to the IP address.

Stranger still, when I type in https://subdomain/domain2.com, I get the index page for https://subdomain/domain1.com.

If I enter the IP address, I am asked if I want to accept the [correct] certificate for the subdomain that should reside there, but after I accept the certificate, I get the default Plesk page rather than the index page I get if I enter https://subdomain/domain2.com.

Any ideas?

Yeah, I have the hardest time getting new certs to stick in Plesk too... have you tried restarting both apache and plesk? I usually do this and then hop on one leg while spinning around and saying a prayer to the certificate gods and then magically it just starts working.
