I have looked and looked, and thus no answer found..

How how do i have just 1 (one) domain atleast work with a 2nd hard drive on a plesk machine?

I dont care if i have to modify the files, since i know plesk dont soport it mad.gif icon_biggrin.gif

Need to have this domain used for ftp backups but accesible by the plesk backup tools. I have tried the redirect command and it does now work properly.

I am open to all sugestions so i can use a nice 120GB hard drive just sitting there to be filled

Thanks
scooterh
So you want the website to be on the 2nd drive?

You could symlink the domain name from /var/www/vhosts/ possibly to it, or /home/httpd/vhosts, pending what version plesk your using.

But if your running plesk backup scripts, psadump, should have no problems writing to a 2nd drive.

I attempeted to symlink them , but when i try to access the folder that is linked it wont work.

With SCP via FTP logged in as root it will work fine, but if i try with anyother ftp program it wont.

I answered this question a while back, symlinking won't work, you have to mount your drive at the appropriate point to use it for a domain, ie, mount it at /home/httpd/vhosts/domain.com/httpdocs/
