I finally got my server up.
But speeds seem quite... low.
My bandwidth is precious - Removed.
Everbody care to post their download speeds on that file and your location?
Mine is averaging around 130kb/s
London, UK
It's pretty low..
Submitted a ticket assuming this is not normal here.
Thanks!

Maxed at 650Kb/sec to my home cable connection and averaged around 600kb/sec. I would guess it is your route going to the UK. I am nto sure what sort of speeds you normally expect from the US.

I kept trying, and a few moments ago I achieved 440 Kb/s + on the same wireless BlueYonder cable line. This is better. But am curious as to why not before. Support contacted back saying - make sure it's not the ISP. But I'm quite sure it wasn't.
Everything seems speedy now so I'll remove the file which is eating some precious bandwidth.

It may have just been a random routing issue with the internet. The transatlantic routes get screwed up sometimes and cause all sorts of trouble. Who knows somebody may have accidently cut a cable somewhere and it was taking a different route then normal.

Maybe this was just one of EV1's many messy routes?

I have to say, network is really solid.
But download speeds from a few of the many locations I've tried/asked others to do, were not so good at around 100 - 150kb/s only. I do think perhaps some routes are are clearly not as good as the rest.
