The registration, transfer, renewal and management of domain names will be unavailable at this time. WHOIS will be unavailable during this time as well.

Domain names will continue to resolve normally.

Normal operations to the Domain Management interface will resume when maintenance is complete at 6:00AM Central Standard Time (GMT -6). Any manual orders submitted during the maintenance window will be processed after the maintenance is complete.

Does this apply to ResellOne as well or only to domains registered with Tucows?

I am not 100% sure but ResellOne uses ev1 as the registar vs tucows for the old system so there should be NO downtime from ResellOne based on what Brooke said.

Well, remember that ResellOne is built on OpenHRS - Tucows' hosted backend solution. Based on what I've read about OpenHRS, I believe they're independent systems - the only time the two have ever been affected simultaneously was last summer when Tucows' datacenter had a significant power failure and all the power redundancy failed to kick in.

But, I would tend to agree that this doesn't affect ResellOne unless it's specifically mentioned.

As a question for Brooke/Laurie: will we get the same kind of announcement system that OpenSRS uses for ResellOne announcements/maintenance windows/code releases/etc.? I get at least one e-mail a week from Tucows, usually about the various registry maintenance windows.

And the answer is... Tucows maintenance windows DO affect ResellOne. (At least this one does.) Same "down for maintenance" error on the ResellOne RWI that I'm getting on my OpenSRS RWI.
