Hi,

I am trying to purchase a QuickSSL Cert from ev1 but I'm unable to enter my State in the Order Form because there is no states in my Country. I am located in Croatia.

I did attempt to make the purchase 15 times, but each time a notice saying it had not been processed due to "address mismatch."

I cannot find any information that indicates whether Non-US people can purchase Quick-SSL Certs or not!!

Emailed ssl@ev1.net 10 hours ago but not received a reply.

Any suggestions?

I would suggest putting your country code in the state field and perhaps seeing if it accepts it then. If not you will have to e-mail ssl@ev1.net again and wait for their reply

Thanks Daniel, I tryed "HR", "Hr", "hr", "--", "emty field", "na" without success.
Strange, I have purchased sll certificates from EV1.net in the past without any problems.

I am not sure if I am looking at your attempted order, but the most recent error I am seeing in the order attempt logs is that the Address information does not match the card verification.

Hi Aaron,

all Credit Card, Address and Personal info are 100% correct, but every time I complete the form it returns this error:
--------------------------------
ERROR!
Your Credit Card was declined: Address Mismatch
Please make sure the address you entered is the address associated with this
credit account. If you are unsure of the address, please refer to your
latest credit card bill.

I have called my Bank(PBZ Bank Zagreb) and they say this order(authorization
request) is authorised by them.

Yep... your bank will show the authorization as going through, because there's no credit card gateway that allows a merchant to verify the address details on the card without also running an authorization transaction (which deducts funds from your available credit line.) So, EV1 has to run that authorization to get the information - then makes the decision to not honor it based on the response. That's why your bank is seeing the authorization and telling you that it was approved by them.

EV1 has always been quite strict about credit cards and address verification responses... and I don't really fault them for it. CC fraud can be a pretty nasty draw on a business' profit margin if it's allowed to get out of hand, in terms of actual chargebacks and the effect on the discount rates that every merchant pays. EV1 is doing nothing but protecting themselves (and in turn, us) in this case. The side effect is that it sometimes makes things difficult for cardholders, particularly those outside of North America where the databases that the AVS system relies on aren't as reliable as they should be.

Well, I do understand the battle against online CC fraud and fraud prevention measures, I am having the same problems in my online business. But I have purchased sll certificates from EV1.net in the past(thrice in last tree year), so may I call myself a ev1.net customer?

I have mailed ssl@ev1.net and sales@ev1servers.net yesterday, but get no response. icon_sad.gif

This is really annoying as I need to get it sorted out ASAP.
Any advice?

Thanks!
