mad.gif Hi,

When I get a server 500 error on my Win2k3 box with Plesk installed, I get no information at all! I have told the server to provide detailed error reports to clients and my browser has been set NOT to show friendly HTTP errors.

Anyone work out how I can show WHAT is wrong when an ASP script fails? This is impossible to debug with the server acting like this!

Thanks,

Chris. mad.gif

Can you provide a URL and have you checked your server logs and event logs?

Hi,

thanks for the response. Turns out it was Plesk causing the problem. I had custom documents on which overrides any error messages from IIS!

Cheers.

Chris.
