Some fast questions icon_wink.gif

I'm free to make upgrade of Pleask 7.1.2 (installed default on VPS) to version 7.5.x ? (or may have some problems ? i have just bought the VPS that is "empty" at the moment).

I have to use forcely my 2 nameserver: how can i set my own nameserver ? (i have requested 2ip). i need to reverse my xxx.com to ev1servers.net nameserver as fist thing, then i create a zone for xxx.com and then creat ns1.xxx.com and ns2.xxx.com ?

mysql is supported by Pleask o i have to use PostgreSQL ?

thank you m8 icon_smile.gif

1. Start a trouble ticket with EV1 for the updating problem. There have been issues previously when upgrading to 7.5.4 where you end up with two versions of Plesk installed, both the old one and the new one. They can fix it. You can verifiy if this is the case by running rpm -qa psa

Better to have that happen now rather than after domains are installed and the server is Live. It's a problem with the Plesk update apparently.

2. We have a thread down in the the Plesk DNS section that walks you through how to set up your own nameservers. The Reverse pointers can be set up in the EV1 members area.

3. No you don't have to use PostgreSQL with your databases. It is a required installation though, I believe. Simply use MySQL for your own stuff.
