I thought I saw a thread (at one time) about upgrading to the latest ClamAV on cpanel using an automatic updater. I am getting this error report (below) in my daily cron log and need to upgrade. I have downloaded the latest tarball from surgeforce, but am not sure about what to do next. Any help is appreciated. My OS is RH9.

/etc/cron.daily/freshclam:

daily.cvd is up to date (version: 1169, sigs: 1616, f-level: 6, builder: ccordes)

[2] tar zxvf clamav-0.87.1.tar.gz
[3] cd clamav*
[4] ./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc
[5] make
[6] make install

Run the following command below to check version #:
clamscan -V

You should get the following:

#ClamAV 0.87.1/1169/Fri Nov 11 21:28:05 2005

[7] cd

[8] rm -fr clamav*
