I've noticed some very slow loads with my images and some of them even break. KeepAlive is on an the timeout is set high enough so I'm unsure if anyone else has had this problem and what it could be.

Still having this issue. I'm on a Dual Xeon box, just moved up from a P4 and this did not happen with the P4.

I had noticed problems in the past but I tried just now and the images are loading fine for me and a quick ab didn't show any problems either.

I was able to clear the problem up not too long after I created the post. The problem was the size of the logs. I had a similiar issue on another server and should have remembered when the problem arose again. After a few short weeks on my new server, my logs were at 2.5 gigs and causing all sorts of errors with the way apache was working. Once logrotate was set and the logs deleted, the server was blazing fast. If you or anyone happens to have this issue, check the size of the logs. Once the logs went beyond 2 gigs, the stat scripts froze and the entire server output slowed down as a result.
