Hello I inherited a raq4r. Well I think it is a raq4r. It does have 2 drive sleds, 2 network ports, dual power and drive cables, and when I boot up it says raid ok. the part number is raq40100 1U.

If it is not a raq4r please let ne know, but it appears to be so (I know very little about these).

Here is the problem:
When I got it there was only 1 15.3gb seagate HDD in the primary slot. Everything ran fine and when I booted it says RAID OK even though there was only one drive. I bought a matching model 15.3gb drive to take advantage of the raid and hooked it up. The system booted ... RAID OK .... and when I got into the gui, nothing indicated there was even another drive present. Under the "C" (server info) it only shows 14.2GB recognized. shouldn't I see like 28.4gb or 2x 14.2gb or 14.2gb mirrored or something? I am not too familiar with raq's or *nix for that matter, but I'm no newb to servers. Can anyone help me with my issue or tell me what I need to do to initialize the drive or have the server see it? PS - 2x 15.3gb seagate model ST315323a drives, OS 6, 256mb pc100 ram.
It says RAID OK with one drive or both drives installed. The primary drive works fine.
