Is the root path /home/httpd/vhosts/.... the same for subdomains ??

For the most part, yes. Unless you set up the subdomain as a completely separate domain.

If created from within the domain the path will be something like:

/home/httpd/vhosts/[domain.com]/subdomains/[sub]/httpdocs/
