Hi.

I have plesk 7.5.4 with Unlimited Licence.

If i upgrade PHP to the last version (PHP5) and upgrade MySQL to the last version.... is possible that there are compatibility problems with plesk ?

Thanks for response...

I'm relatively new to plesk as well and I had the same questions. There are a couple tips I picked up. You can get PHP5 and MySQL rpms from here:

1.) http://www.atomicrocketturtle.com/ (this guy is the authority).
2.) I successfully upgraded to PHP 4.3.11 and MySQL 4.1 with the packages here: http://3es.atomicrocketturtle.com/packages/ (assuming your on RHEL3)
3.) I didn't upgrade to 5.0 because of two reasons. A.) The guys on the ART said it wasn't fully tested yet, and B.) It breaks half the apps in the application valut like osCommerce.

On a side note: Plesk 7.5.4 is coded in PHP5, so no issues there, and anyway, plesk has its OWN version of PHP to run the panel, so upgrading the main PHP installation has no effect on the Plesk control panel. Just gotta make sure it is installed correctly...

Anyway, good luck!

Hi Guys, im in the same position as you, and just wanted to see if any of you did go ahead with a php 5 update, and if so how it went.

Thanks
