All, I am currently using MMTurck, but need to remove it and replace with eAccelerator asap.
My server admin previously dealt with all this so I'm kind of clueless on where to start. I know SSH a little and would appreciate if anyone could give me some kind of step-by-step on how to remove MMT and replace with eAccelerator.

Follow the eaccelerator guide here on the forum and when you add the lines to the php.ini look in the same area for the lines that talk about mmcache, simply delete those lines. Then you can also go back and delete the old mmcache directory, I think it was /mmcache but if you do not see it the directory was referenced in the php.ini so it should be obvious.
