Large chunks of EV1 appear to be down. Can't connect to member log on page, log on to my server with RD, use FTP or even use SSH on the serial cable.

Only http seems to be working on my server. Chat page of EV1 website is also down.

Anyone know what's happening?

After a few hours (rough guess) - the network is back :-)

Am I the only one suffering problems?

The network, after an hour or so back up, is now down again. HTTP to my website on my server works fine - but nothing else can be connected to and that includes the remote console (which works not via the network card but serial cable).

I can access EV1's main site ok but not the member area which just comes up page not found (after a long delay). So not able to raise a trouble ticket.

I've checked the network status page of the forum and no mention of problems there.

if there is one tool that is friend to any admin its their traceroute utility.

I am unaware of any local EV1 network problems, and all graphing looks solid overnight...

When you experience a network problem, please post an inbound traceroute complete with the source and destination IP addresses.

All seems to be back up again. I can also access the EV1 members area again. Might have been my ISP at fault, although only only EV1 related connections effected.

Will traceroute next time.
