I have a site called SiteA (with DomainA) and an alias called DomainB pointing to SiteA.

I want the SSL Cert to be authorised for DomainB. When registering for the Cert do I give DomainB's domain name or DomainA's?

Finally, whats the difference between the standard $49 and $94 Certs?

Cheers,
Ernest

SSL certificates work on a name basis. When you purchase the cert you purchase it for www.domain.com and only www.domain.com. If you visit it using anything other then www.domain.com you are going to get an error. You cannot get 2 domains to work on a single standard certificate. If you want that you are going to have to setup domainB on a second ip and get a seperate certificate for it.

The entire purpose of a certificate is to verify that you are visiting the website the address bar claims to be.
