Full Version: Email Hell - Need advise

I've had a server set up and working for over a year. Last week it was comprimised and unplugged. Had to get a new HD with new image, slave the old one, and move over my stuff to the new image.

Used rsync to do everything. Websites are up, cpanel accounts seem fine, mysql is working good, email is HELL.

You can send email in to any account on the box, and it doesnt bounce, but it doesnt get delivered. You can use WHM to look in the email queue and see there are like 1500 messages to be delivered, but clicking on deliver them all now doesnt do jack.

I really need my email back up ASAP. I have read forums for 2 days and nothing seems to work. Any gurus out there willing to give me advise or some help?

have you try running '/scripts/exim --force' and '/scripts/upcp'?

Did you try using this thread: http://forums.ev1servers.net/showthread.ph...=restore+cpanel

If you are still having trouble look at the exim_mainlog there has to be something if it is being accepted.

Ok, my up2date cert was out of date, and therefor I couldnt get any new packages right.

So thats fixed, and i forced upcp and exim reinstalls. Seems like mail is now working correctly for every domain accept 1. (happens to be the most important one) All other mail testing is fine, but if you send any mail to an address at this domain, it just gets into, and then sits in the queue.

If i try to force delivery, i get this error.

Message 1DtStY-0005Uh-4m is not frozen
delivering 1DtStY-0005Uh-4m
LOG: MAIN
: virtual_sa_userdelivery transport output: An error was detected while processing a file of BSMTP input.
LOG: MAIN PANIC
== rick@pbxinfo.com R=virtual_sa_user T=virtual_sa_userdelivery defer (-24): Transport filter process failed (127): unable to execute command

any advise?
