You've been at this a while from what I've seen on the forums (and you keep editing your posts, which makes it confusing). You need to cut your losses and order a restore. Edit the restore ticket and tell them to slave the original HD so you can copy your data over (since you probably don't have any backups).
tito
sorry i edit the post beacuse was erroneus
yes i dont have backups
i investigate and a restore of files in ext3 is not easy
no program found to make this tarea.

so you saying to me that a copi of the boot folder of another
server dont work?

or u say that the restore and another hard drive is the solution

thanks for response (Y)

You would have had to be root to delete those folders in the first place.

WHY are you connecting with ftp as the root user in the first place?
tito
long time, hi again,

I connected as root because.... is easy navigate into server.... :S
well is all ok now, icon_smile.gif
the solution is buckup all time, and a restore ticket.
thanks
