I am working on configuring Urchin with a few questions. I don't fully understand how the load balancing module works. If anyone has a good working understanding of the LBM, I would be interested in a brief overview of how it works. I have read the three sentences Urchin has on help.urchin.com without satisfaction.
Another question I have is with the UTM. Has anyone used server side includes to add the UTM to the entire site and not have to edit every HTML page? My developers tell me there will be problems with this method. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks ahead of time!

The Load Balancing Module braids the logs from a load balanced site so that the statistics are accurately reported. You don’t need to do anything special, just import the two separate logs and it should work fine.

Server side includes is the preferred way of installing the __utm.js file across your site. You should not have any problems if you implement it properly.
