I need to install Tom cat on an EV1 Pleask VPS

So far i have done this:

wget ftp://fr2.rpmfind.net/linux/Mandrake/10.2...2jpp.noarch.rpm
rpm -Uvh tomcat4-4.1.30-2jpp.noarch.rpm

So how do i test install and where do i add info for Apache...

I have the following pages for support, but to be honest i am a bit confused:

Simple osbervation, as i have run into my own thread.

Installed TOMCAT several months ago, however i have decided to disable, i dont know much about it so i got a bit tangled up. Just a thought and feedback.

I could never get a tomcat app to conect to mysql. anyone have a solution for my future learning experiences?
